MY VALUES
We only succeed when we succeed together.
People over Politics
My goals:
I plan to examine our budget and provide technologies and systems that can liberate our office from 1-step management and give employees ownership in our office and processes. I plan to inspire people to train others on how to assist across departments.
My Authenticity:
I was born and raised in Jefferson County. I have a passion for geography and applied that to my home county. I went to college and worked most of my time in Jeffco. I have the knowledge to assist in all capacities and don't have to fear to humbly ask someone if I do not. I own property here, explore and adventure here, and I know business owners here. I have a vested interest in Jefferson County. I AM JEFFCO.
My Change:
When our whole office succeeds together, we win. When we are allowed to thrive, collaborate, learn from each other we can assist, help, educate the public more effectively. We don't need more automations to be authentic with the public, we only need our training and work experience to be our authentic selves with the public.
My Motivation:
My core motivation is to upend the status quo that our office has been following for the past 30+ years and think outside the box to create a more collaborative experience.

FAQs
How I Can Make an Impact as the Jeffco Assessor
Our jobs are largely based on statutes and rules given by the State of Colorado. I am willing to go to bat for both taxpayers and employees of the Assessor's Office, and examine rules and norms for everyone's benefit.
The Difference Between an Appraiser and an Assessor
The Assessor's Office hires appraisers to determine real and personal property values. The assessor then signs off on those values, and is accountable for owning any and all mistakes made. This allows appraisers to solely focus on their valuations.
"Market Value" and the Role of the Assessor
The Assessor's Office is responsible for arriving at a market value for each property. Our office generally follows the definition of "market value" provided by the Appraisal Institute (AI).
The election will take place in November 2026. Between now and then, I am asking for everyone's help to support my campaign—because the Assessor's Office should be run by the assessor and appraisers—not politicians!
